Ingredients
  

Chicken Glaze

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 pound chicken cubed

Chicken Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil

Base (If Making A Honey Harissa Chicken Bowl)

  • Rice
  • Kale

Toppings (If Making A Honey Harissa Chicken Bowl)

  • Cucumbers
  • Hummus
  • Taziki dressing See link in ingredients section above.
  • Avocados cubed
  • Harissa dressing See link in ingredients section above.
  • Pickled onions
  • Feta

Instructions
 

  • If making a bowl, begin cooking rice.
  • Season the chicken, meanwhile heat pan with avocado oil.
  • When pan is hot, add chicken. Cook chicken until it is half way cooked.
  • To make glaze, mix all of the glaze ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • Add glaze to chicken when it is halfway cooked. Cook until moisture has evaporated and glaze has formed. Chicken should be done. Make sure it reaches 165°F.

Honey Harissa Chicken Bowl

  • If making a honey harissa chicken bowl, first add kale and rice.
  • Then add chicken, avocado, onions, feta, hummus, and both dressings.
